The first thing we learn in our lives is how to respond. As children or rather as babies we meditate 247 to figure out how to respond to the environment. We get exhausted in meditation and fall asleep.Wake up, have some milk and go back to meditation, get exhausted and fall asleep. The cycle is repeated many times a day. We have no sense of day and night at this stage, hence the intense meditation, so intense its like exam time.
Ultimately we succeed and start scaling down the meditation as we now can respond and every one around us happy about our response.Soon we try to exercise our ability to respond; i.e our responsibility. As we try to exercise our responsibility, we run into a myriads of don'ts. The number of don'ts we get become to many and ill timed in our kind of responsibility perceptions. We get frustrated and sometimes cry in protest and win the moment. Gradually we progress in learning responsibility, but it stays a challenge through out our school days, our college and university days. It never ends. New challenges arise as we grow.
The never ending demand on us to keep learning and practicing responsibility, is sometimes overwhelming to some of us and we start to falter and get into trouble with our actions.Depending on the stage at which we are, the faltering can take any form. For example, we can drop out of school, or college or university or commit fraud or acts of corruption. Some of us just keep on succeeding in learning and practicing responsibility to unbelievable heights of success.
We become professionals in anything we attempt. We get self driven. We become millionaires. We get focussed almost for ever. We're driven by do's and never notice the don'ts that are for ever spewed at us by fearful people. Unfortunately responsibility is never taught formally. If you want to succeed in anything, here is the first step to put you back on the track you where on, of ever-learning and practicing responsibility.
Lesson: If you do something "wrong" like breaking a glass, never say the glass broken, say " I broke the glass". Practice this principle as much as you did as a baby. Meditate on it fervently in relation to all your endeavors. Soon you'll be unstoppable in your successes, more than in your baby days.Get back your ability to respond, take back your responsibility. This is the ingredient that makes you the Greatest Brand in creation and the biggest business you've ever known.
